Stephen N. Libin

Partner

Stephen is a Partner at Dutton Brock with a background in engineering and business. He has a diverse insurance defence practice with an emphasis on resolving complex product liability, general negligence, occupiers' liability, construction, motor vehicle, professional negligence, environmental and class action disputes. Stephen has trial, motion, application and appeal experience before all levels of court in Ontario and has appeared before several administrative tribunals.

Education

Stephen was called to the Ontario bar in 2009. He received his J.D. from the University of Toronto in 2008. Prior to attending law school, Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Science with distinction from the University of Western Ontario and an Honours of Business Administration with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Outside of his practice, Stephen volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario providing legal advice and trial representation to low-income Ontario residents and is a director of Bialik Hebrew Day School and Jewish Federations of Canada – UIA. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three young boys.
